Twenty Three

It's March already! I'm not exactly sure how it has happened, February seems to have completely gone by the Treehouse all together, but there it is. Time sure has been flying in these parts!

My birthday was last Saturday (9 March). I had a lovely weekend! My friends and family really went out of their way  to make it memorable, which was great. A lot of surprises as well! Surprise packages, surprise visits, surprise handmade presents, surpise we-will-make-dinner-for-you and lots more. My brother had the idea to come up to the Treehouse on the morning of my birthday with a ridiculous amount of birthday decorations and put it up in the treehouse. It was quite a funny sight, my house was full of people hanging garlants, getting out balloons, flowers, a crown was made for me and a chalk mural was being drawn for me. I sure felt special!

In terms of present there was a lot of yarn...especially Icelandic yarn (yum!!) I got two large cones of textile yarn, something I've not worked with before! Any ideas? I think it would be great for making something for the home. Thoughts? There were books, Books on knitting, novels, and literary classics.

Presents!

This year has been huge to me. Sometimes I can't believe I'm already 23. How did that happen? At other times I can't believe that I'm just only 23 years old. When I think about all the stuff that has happened to me, the good and the bad... Thinking about the time I was twenty two overall makes me really happy.
So much has changed and happened over the past year that I can hardly wrap my head around it. I'm very thankful for all the changes. My life is very different than a year ago and indeed I find myself enjoying it a lot more. Twenty two was a good year, a very good year indeed. Here's to another fantastic year! 

My cats didn't enjoy all those visitors as much as I did.
